Ok i'm officially sick of eating rice! Rice, rice, rice! Everyday! Everywhere! Rice!
Kimchi and rice, meat and rice, rice soup, rice tea, rice cake, rice and sesame seeds, rice and corn, rice omelet, rice with butter, rice with cinnamon and sugar, rice with raspberry vinegar, rice with everything, everyday.
Yes, this is my totally lame attempt to get anyone to send me sweettarts, starburst, butterfingers, hot tamales, mac and cheese, pasta in a box, anything.
Help me.
I hate rice.

Some of the cutest kids ever!
Here are two of the kids I teach. They made up their own dance to a Korean TV commercial.

Weather
Winter in Korea sucks! It is sooo windy and soooo cold!
So I'm really excited for spring to finally get here! I can't wait to start hiking again. I've been scoutin out some good spots in mokpo and busan. I also have another bike now so I'm planning on taking some long rides in the morning before school.
Speaking of working out...god I miss turbo kick boxing! 24 hour fitness is like a palace compared to the places they call gyms here. Maybe it's just because I'm out in the "sticks" as people in Seoul like to affectionately refer to it...lol. It being the fabulous town of Gwangju (a measly population of 1.4 million compared to over 10.4 million in Seoul).
On a complete side note, I stepped up my game today and ordered take out from an authentic Korean restaurant! And i didn't even have to repeat anything! Now I can get pizza and kimchi chigae without even leaving my apartment!
I'm not gonna lie, my korean is gettin pretty badass... haha

Hi
Hi everyone!
Sorry I've been putting up more pictures then actually writing lately. I just got off the phone with Danny...(I'm on my lunch break)... and all of the girls were super excited to scream "Skye teacher loves you!" I was laughing pretty hard, and I'm sure Danny appreciated it...lol.
In one of my classes the unit is about space exploration. One of the questions was, "If you went to live on a space station for a year, what would you take with you and why?" The best answer I got was...
"I would kidnap the president of Korea and take him, because then I could get anything. I wouldn't have to pick just one thing."
I gave him an A+ for originality. lol
